On Monday, April 4th 2016, Brainworks Asia held the 2nd Vietnam-Japan Business Salon at the seminar room, inside its headquarter in Ho Chi Minh City. There were approximately 30 Vietnamese entrepreneurs gathering in Ho Chi Minh City‘s venue, which was connected to the venues in Tokyo and Osaka (pamphlet).
The topic of this seminar is about Vietnam-Japan collaboration in confectionery field. In presentation session, we have welcomed the speech of Mr. Noboru Kondo, CEO of Brain Works Group and an expert in confectionery field, Mr. Yoshiaki Masuyama, President of Food Distribution Institute.
Mr. Kondo presented from HCMC’s venue. By giving some cases of Japanese confectionery companies making success in Vietnam, he talked about the Japan’s know-hows not only in Japanese management of sweets' quality, but also Japanese food safety management method and food reservation method. After that, Mr. Masuyama presented from Tokyo’s venue about important points to adapt Japanese techniques in Vietnam. We have received many feedback from participants that they want to cooperate in particular with Japan.
Networking party started with a toast from 3 venues (HCMC, Tokyo and Osaka). Our guests have enjoyed Japanese sweets and Japanese cuisine such as sushi, while developing relationship with other entrepreneurs. We can feel the enthusiasm and the great interest of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in cooperation with Japan in confectionery field.
