Seminar on “Business opportunities of Vietnam-Japan construction field” finished successfully

On Tuesday, February 2nd 2016, we have held the 10th Vietnam-Japan business opportunities on the topic of construction at Liberty Central hotel, Ho Chi Minh city (seminar pamphlet) . Although this seminar was held right before Vietnamese Tet holidays, up to 60 Vietnamese businessmen have come to join us. Our guests seemed to be very concerned about collaboration with Japan in construction field.
At first, Mr. Noboru Kondo - CEO of Brain Works Group - gave a speech about potentialities in construction field in Vietnam and Japan. From viewpoint of an architect, as well as experience during living in Vietnam, he presented about necessary improvement in building a house in Vietnam, and also how Japan can contribute to this improvement process.
Subsequently, Mr. Yuji Koyama, an architect and senior consultant of our company, presented about problems in Vietnamese construction sites and measures through real examples, from his own experience. He raised the example of proven fact that if the managers and all members of a project just make thorough rearrangement, reorganization and process management, in parallel with raising awareness of all the employees, then construction site could be improved after 1 month. Our guests showed deep concern about the significant changes of the site before and after making improvements.
Finally came the appearance of Mr. Fumihiro Kano, representative director of Science Home Joint Stock Company, presented about wooden house architecture and Shinkabe construction method of Japan. Illustrating by a video, Mr. Kano has introduced about Japaneses wooden house architecture. All the participants listened attentively about history and characteristics of Shinkabe construction method. In the middle of this speech, Mr. Nozue, another representative of Science Home Company, have a short presentation about why wooden house is the best choice for human life by tracing back the history of human evolution.
We received many feedbacks from our guests that they want to learn more about Japanese techniques and know-hows.
Our next seminar on Vietnam-Japan business opportunities will be held in the beginning of April, with the topic of confectionery industry. We hope to welcome you at this seminar !
